NaoX Technologies has a separate product — the NaoX Link (NX01) — that received FDA 510(k) clearance as the first in-ear EEG system intended for clinical use. The research demonstrated reliable capture of alpha rhythms, sleep spindles, and slow waves during both wakefulness and sleep.

Bottom Line
NaoX has a legitimate scientific pedigree — the same team that built an FDA-cleared clinical EEG device. That puts the Wave in a different category than most consumer neurotech. The technology is real and well-supported. The question is whether consumer-grade interpretation of that data delivers actionable value.
