SetPoint's approach is based on the discovery that the vagus nerve controls the inflammatory reflex — a neural circuit that regulates the immune system's inflammatory response. Clinical Evidence
In clinical studies, patients with treatment-resistant rheumatoid arthritis showed significant improvement in disease activity scores following vagus nerve stimulation.
